How OpticTour is Staying COVID-Conscious

At OpticTour, the safety of our clients, staff, and all others we come into contact with remains a high priority.

We’re closely monitoring and adhering to all guidelines set forth by state and federal officials alongside administering our own personal sanitation and contact-tracing practices so we can minimize any potential risk and keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy.

Here’s a little more about what we’re doing to stay COVID-conscious:

Contact Tracing

Upon entrance into OpticTour, you will be asked to fill out a brief survey for contract-tracing purposes.

Contact tracing is a process that monitors the spread of COVID-19. Essentially, we’ll just be asking you for some basic contact information (name, phone number, email, etc.) alongside some COVID-related questions (like your temperature or if you have any symptoms) so we can identify potential risks and ensure the safety of everyone who comes into our office.

During this process, please note that we’ll never ask you for any personal information like your credit card number, social security number, or banking information. We just want to know a few small things so everyone stays safe!

Wiping Down All Surfaces and Equipment

We frequently wipe down any and all surfaces and equipment you or we come into contact with during your visit: tables, doorknobs, light switches, cameras, microphones, etc. If it gets touched, it gets sanitized!

Wearing Masks at All Times

Everyone on our team will wear a face mask for the entire duration of your visit.

Frequent Hand-Washing

All our staff will frequently cleanse their hands, using a hand sanitizer with an alcohol concentration of at least 60% (as proposed by the CDC) when soap and water are not available.

Maintaining Social  Distancing

We establish and maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet both with our clients and in between crew members.

Monitoring Our Health

All of our staff are actively monitoring their health for any COVID-19 symptoms. Any employee showing symptoms is asked to stay home and quarantine for at least 14 days. Note: So far, not a single employee has shown symptoms or been diagnosed with COVID-19.

When We Aren’t at Work, We’re at Home

Our jobs sometimes require us to meet in person with our clients — but when we’re not doing so, we encourage all our staff members to stick to social distancing, sanitize frequently, and stay home as much as possible.

We know the world might seem a little crazy right now, so if there’s anything else we can do to help you feel safe or if you’ve got any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
