Google recently announced that it plans to change Google Maps Business View’s name to Google Street View Trusted. Along with the name change, Google is going to lighten up on a few policies pertaining to the program, in order to make it a much easier user friendly experience. They will also be implementing simpler publishing requirements for the Street View Trusted.
Hopefully the changes that Google implements will help to improve publishing and editing reliability, without sacrificing the quality of the Google Street View Trusted service.
Google is also preparing to launch a Street View app sometime this month that lets you find user profiles as well as the actual virtual tours. This means that soon you won’t be able to find them under the main section of Google Maps. The Street View app will also take the place of Photo Sphere Camera on iOS devices.
