Houston, TX (August 26, 2015) – OpticTour LLC, a Google Business View Trusted Agency is expanding to Houston, Texas. The Houston expansion is headed up by Larry D. Horning, the COO of Optic Tour, supported by CEO Ramin Jahedi and CMO James Scaggs.
As a Google Business View Trusted Agency, OpticTour photographers produce Street View-like panoramic imagery of the inside of businesses to be showcased on Google Maps, Google+, Local, and Search across mobile, desktop, and tablet.
“In 2012, Google launched the Street-View tool offered on Google Maps. While Street View shows visitors what businesses look like from the street, Google Business View is an extension of this program that takes users on a 360° virtual tour inside the business,” said Horning.
With hundreds of virtual tours in their portfolio they have already established themselves as market leaders in Google Business View virtual space and demand continues to grow.
“As a Google Business View Trusted Agency we’re authorized to certify Google Trusted Photographers to fulfill the demand for virtual tours. We have our own team of Google Trusted Photographers in-house and we’ve expanded our network of photographers nationwide to meet the demand.” – Ramin Jahedi, CEO
In fact, OpticTour was recently selected to shoot the virtual tour for the Google Fiber offices in Austin, Texas. To view all the details of that shoot see here, Google Fiber Austin Texas Virtual Tour Project.
“Google reports that only 37% of local businesses have claimed their Google Maps Listing. We’re working hand in hand with Google to raise awareness of a new program called “Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map” to help businesses take advantage of the power Google offers to local businesses.” – Larry D. Horning, C.O.O.
OpticTour LLC currently employs a staff of 15 and boasts a large network of Google Trusted Photographers nationwide.
The cost of simple virtual tours depends on the size of a business. “A small business can cost as low as $595 and a mid-size company $995,” said Horning.
“The virtual tours have been most popular with restaurants, beauty spas, art galleries and car dealerships. Hotels, spa’s, airbnb.com and nursing homes may find it valuable too as people want to view a place inside and out before spending their money.”
